At Prodrift Academy, we believe you lead by example. By operating and competing as a professional team, we stay directly connected to the realities of modern drifting, both on and off the track.
Running a professional team allows us to pass on real world experience to our students, offering practical insight into competition, preparation, and progression. This ensures our drivers are not only trained to a high standard, but supported with knowledge that can only come from active involvement at the highest level of the sport.
Over the years, the Prodrift Academy Team has worked with Jack Shanahan, Mike Fitz, Peden Nielsen, Alan Hynes, Martin Wonnacott, Khalifa Al Falasi, Noor Daoud and Mohamad Chehab — reflecting the level of competition, expertise, and international experience that underpins everything we teach.
Driver Support
At Prodrift Academy, our role doesn’t end when training is complete. Our team is committed to supporting our students as they step into competition, helping them climb the ladder toward the top of professional drifting.
From car preparation and logistics to driver mindset, event formats, and progression pathways, we remain alongside our drivers as they compete, develop, and pursue their goals within the sport.
Certified Drift Instructor
At Prodrift Academy, we don’t just train drivers — we certify instructors too. Becoming a Certified Drift Instructor means you’ve mastered the skills, techniques, and safety standards required to coach others at the highest level.
Prodrift Academy certifies its instructors through a rigorous program that combines technical skill assessment, teaching methodology, and real-world coaching experience. Instructors are evaluated on their ability to:
- Technique: Demonstrate expert-level drifting techniques
- Communication: Communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively
- Assessment: Assess and adapt to the individual needs of each student
- Safety: Maintain safety standards and track discipline at all times
- Interpersonal & Coaching: Develop strong interpersonal and coaching skills
Only instructors who meet these professional standards receive certification, ensuring that every student at Prodrift Academy learns from qualified, experienced, and capable mentors.
